I woke up early and went to the beach to witness the start of a new day. It had been a while since I last saw a sunrise, and this one took my breath away. The sky was filled with soft pink clouds, and along the horizon, deep orange clouds shaped like distant mountains greeted the morning light.
It was one of those rare, still moments where everything felt meaningful. I felt as if God was speaking to me through that radiant sky, and in that instant, I knew—I had to paint it.
This piece captures that sunrise, using a palette knife to add texture and depth to the clouds and light. It’s more than a painting; it’s a moment of connection and awe.
